What are the image formats for inkjet printing?

When it comes to the printing format of images, we first need to know which RIP software is available on the printing printer.

The commonly used RIP color management software in the digital printing industry includes RIIN and Maintop from China, Photoprint from the United States, Onyx from the United States, Caldera from France, and Colorgate from Germany. The digital printing industry also uses Watch software from the United States.

The software commonly used by over 85% of domestic customers is Maintop, RIIN, and Photoprint software. These three software are popular in terms of functionality and relatively affordable in price.

Onyx from the United States, Caldera from France, and Colorgate from Germany are relatively expensive software with many service limitations. Of course, they are excellent in color gamut transition and color control. About 15% of high-end inkjet printing factories in China choose these software when printing 8-color images.

The most commonly used graphic software for inkjet printing are PS, Adobe Illustrator (AI), Corel DRAW Graphics Suite (CDR), and GMG color processing software.

Next, we need to see what software is configured on your machine!

At present, RIP software such as Maintop, RIIN, and Photoprint support image formats such as TIF, JPG, EPS, PDF, BMP. These image formats are processed into printing channel data by RIP software and then transmitted to the printing software, which prints them into images through the output of the nozzle.

So, there are several image formats for inkjet printing, including TIF, JPG, EPS, PDF, and BMP. Do you remember?
