The number of UV printer heads is mainly determined by several factors, including the manufacturer's technical level, process requirements, print head characteristics, and color requirements.
Firstly, the technical level of UV flatbed printer manufacturers: this has a significant impact. Some manufacturers can produce six color equipment, some can produce eight color equipment, and some can produce nine color equipment. When choosing a UV printer, it is important to understand the situation in advance to avoid buying a four color UV printer in the early stages and upgrading later on, which may not be possible. Our factory is currently capable of producing 8-color UV printing.
Secondly, it depends on the customer's requirements for UV flatbed printer technology and production capacity. This mainly refers to whether the printed pattern requires relief and bright lighting effects. If necessary, additional print heads need to be added to print white ink and varnish; If faster printing modes are needed, such as dual four color, dual six color, etc., additional heads need to be added.
Thirdly, we also need to look at the characteristics of the UV flatbed printer print head. The characteristics of different heads are different. Some print heads can produce 4 colors per head, some produce 1 color per head, and some produce 2 colors per head. The configuration of all print head quantities is also different.
