KT board
KT board is a new type of material formed by foaming polystyrene (PS) particles to form a board core and laminating on the surface. Kt board can be divided into cold composite and hot composite according to the production process. The board body is stiff, light, not easy to deteriorate, easy to process, and can be directly screen printed on the board (screen printing board), paint (need to test the adaptability of the paint), laminated back glue picture and spray painting, widely used in advertising display promotion, Aircraft model, architectural decoration, culture and art and packaging, etc.
The appearance of KT board is mostly white. The size is from 0.9m to 1.2m wide, and the size of 1.2*2.4m is generally widely used. Thickness 1.8-10 mm.
The advantages of KT board are obvious, the board body is firm, light, not easy to deteriorate, easy to process, and cheap. The disadvantage is that it is easily deformed and easy to foam.
In terms of advertising applications, it is suitable for short-term application in about a week in the exhibition, display and announcement of product publicity information. . At present, KT boards mostly appear with photo images and need to be covered. Different shapes can also be engraved according to the graphics.
Super cardboard, also known as plastic cardboard, superhard cardboard, is an improved KT board.
The appearance is made of double-sided PS foam board core + double-sided PS film thermally compounded. The thickness of the dough is very thin, about 1-2 filaments, the density of the PS core is about 100g, and the two sides of the board are glued with a layer of double-adhesive paper with high density. The advantages are good adhesion, high board hardness and stiffness. Good, not easy to deform, and no bubbles for a long time, suitable for long-term mounting of pictures, or direct spray painting. It is recommended to choose a super card board for outdoor pictures for more than a week. Of course, the price is slightly more expensive than the KT board.
