A measure of Printer Sublimation

Resolution is an important index to measure the printing quality of Printer Sublimation, which determines the precision degree that the Printer can display when printing the image. Its level has an important influence on the output quality, so to a certain extent, the printing resolution also determines the output quality of the Printer Sublimation. The higher the resolution, the more pixels that can be displayed, the more information and a better and sharper image. However, due to the technical characteristics of Printer Sublimation, although the resolution is lower than that of inkjet printer when printing pictures with the same format, the printing effect of continuous color level formed by printer can be comparable to that of high-end inkjet photo printer, and smooth and natural color transition is the main feature of its printing. Also because of this characteristic, thermal sublimation printer is not suitable for printing text, form and so on. Print time is not a unique parameter of thermal sublimation printers. The printing speed of laser and inkjet printers usually refers to the number of Pages printed by the printer Per Minute, expressed in Pages Per Minute (PPM).
All printer manufacturers provide users with laser or inkjet printer products, marking speed is based on the printing speed as a standard unit of measurement. But the thermal sublimation printer because the printing technology is different from laser or inkjet printer, generally printing less than one per minute, so the thermal sublimation printer printing speed is expressed in seconds, the general thermal sublimation printer printing speed is about 90 seconds, the first time is slightly longer, because it needs to preheat the heated printing head. In the process of printing, the thermal sublimation printer will vaporize red, yellow and blue three layers of color film in turn through heat treatment and then imprint on special photographic paper. Because the heating grade of the heater can be divided into 128 or 256 levels, the concentration of vaporized pigment raised by heating is different, resulting in the color corresponding to 128 or 256 levels of continuous color level, which is the concept of color level. With 128 or 256 levels per color, a total of 2.097 million colors or 16.77 million colors can be generated. 16.77 million colors is almost the limit of the color depth that human eyes can distinguish. Thermal sublimation printers mostly use 256 color grades.
