The application of UV printers is becoming more and more widespread, with more and more customers purchasing, and naturally more and more manufacturers. Some manufacturers do not have the ability to independently develop and can only modify other people's machines, resulting in various problems for customers. Therefore, before purchasing, it is necessary to have a detailed understanding of the UV flatbed printer and master the testing methods to ensure that the UV printer is qualified, in order to avoid being deceived. How to evaluate whether the quality of UV printers is qualified?
1. The device size cannot print at full capacity. If not, the flatbed printer may have been modified and its components may have been refurbished. It is second-hand and has not yet reached its original performance. Generally, it will be scrapped after two to three months of use. Simultaneously, perform full format printing within 2-4 hours. If the intermediate positioning is inaccurate, such as yin-yang color, flying ink, etc., it indicates that the equipment board system is not original.
2. Printing gray, the original equipment can achieve it. Gray does not belong to the gold and silver spot colors, and can be printed without matching special ink. Typically, over 90% of modified UV flatbed printers are unable to print gray. This is because there are many defects in the color allocation program of the improved equipment board and card system. When printing some colors, there may be code errors that result in printing failure or color mismatch.
3. Print height test. Take one image and print photos between 1cm, 2cm, and 10cm, adding 0.5cm for approximately 15 to 20 tests. High quality UV flatbed printers can print at different heights, while improved UV flatbed printers may encounter various issues such as inaccurate positioning and ink smudging once the height changes.
