The end of the year is approaching, and many inkjet printer manufacturers have launched new products for 2023. In addition to the recently promoted Epson T3200 nozzle machine, it is said that some manufacturers will launch the Ricoh G7 nozzle printer.
Ricoh nozzle printers have experienced iterative upgrades of Ricoh G4 nozzles, G5 nozzles, and G6 nozzles. The performance of Ricoh nozzle printers has been widely recognized by the market.
Comparison of Ricoh G7 nozzles and Ricoh G6 nozzles
| Ricoh G7 | Ricoh G6 | |
| Resolution DPI | 600 | 600 |
| Minimum ink drop PL | 5 | 5 |
| Injection frequency KHZ | 80 | 98 |
| Print widthMM | 66.7 | 54 |
| Number of nozzles | 1600 | 902 |
The Ricoh G7 nozzle adopts the unique highly integrated design of MEMS technology. By configuring two modules of 100×8 rows, it realizes a 2.6-inch printing width and an array of 1,600 nozzles. It is also capable of jetting with fine droplets.
In addition, the nozzle layout is designed to prevent the airflow of ejected ink droplets from affecting adjacent ink droplets and the resulting image quality, enabling high-quality printing even at a gap of 4 mm.
Ricoh G7 printheads can jet ink at 80kHz with 5pl binary drive or 40kHz with 5/10/18pl multipoint drive. It also achieves high productivity at 100m+/min print speed at 600 dpi.
Ricoh G7 printhead with an In/Out ink tube connection provides a simple ink delivery system for designing printers.
Ricoh G7 printheads are compatible with all types of inks such as water-based inks, UV inks and solvent inks for a wide range of applications from textile/label to corrugated/3D.
